Chicken Marinara Sandwiches
This simple recipe is packed with italian flavor! With Keystone you can have dinner on the table quickly. Double the recipe and save some for later!
Ingredients
- 1 can (28 oz.) Keystone Chicken
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
- 1 tsp. Onion powder
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz.) Marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella, shredded
- 6 Sub rolls
- Butter for rolls
Steps
- Add chicken to pot.
- Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning.
- Add minced garlic and 1 jar of your favorite marinara/pasta sauce.
- Mix in 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Cook on low for about 10 minutes.
- Spread butter on sub rolls.
- Bake at 400 °F until the bread is toasted.
- Scoop marinara chicken onto sub rolls and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Put open sandwiches in the oven under the broiler until the cheese melts. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn!
