OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES


NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY APPLICABLE FEDERAL, OR STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.


Eligibility: Keystone Meats “3rd Annual Cookbook Recipe Contest” (hereinafter the “Contest”) is OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES 21 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER who are physically located and residing therein and who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older and the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of the Contest entry. Employees or the immediate family of employees of Keystone Meats or any distributor, representative, agent or affiliate of Keystone Meats brand (Collectively, the ” Contest Entities”) and their immediate families (defined as spouse, mother, father, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters, regardless of where they reside) are ineligible to participate in this Contest.


How To Enter The Recipe Contest Portion: To enter the Recipe Contest portion, during the Contest Period as defined below, interested individuals must visit KeystoneMeats.com to submit their original recipe. The recipe must use any Keystone Meats product to be eligible. No purchase of product is required. The Entry Form and recipe shall be referred to collectively herein as the “Entry.” Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all Federal, State and Local laws.


How To Enter The Recipe Naming Contest Portion: To enter the Recipe Naming Contest portion, during the Contest Period as defined below, interested individuals must visit KeystoneMeats.com to submit his/her original recipe name to a fictitious recipe. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all Federal, State and Local laws.


ENTRY LIMIT: Entrants may each submit multiple recipes and/or creative recipe names during the Entry Phase. Each Entry submitted must include a unique recipe for the recipe contest portion or unique recipe name for the naming contest portion from all other Entries submitted (i.e. a recipe or recipe may not be re-submitted by the same entrant more than one time). In the event that the same recipe or recipe name is submitted by more than one entrant – even if independently created – only the first entrant of that recipe or recipe name will be eligible to win a prize in this Contest.


Completion of and receipt of an entry is the sole responsibility of the participant. Keystone Meats, its employees or agents will not acknowledge or respond to any inquiries regarding the receipt of or status of any entry. Keystone Meats reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or terminate the Contest in whole or in part at any time should any unforeseen occurrence cause the fair and impartial continuation of the Contest to be impossible. By completing the act of entry, each participant agrees to abide by the Official Contest Rules herein stated.


GRANTS OF RIGHTS IN RECIPES AND/OR RECIPE NAMING: By Entrants: By submitting an Entry in this Contest, Entrants agree that Sponsor and those authorized by Sponsor have the right, but not the obligation, to use and/or otherwise display the recipes in whole or in part, edited or unedited, and with or without identifying the entrant’s name, on the following: the Keystone Meats website and/or social media accounts. Further, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, may add or remove any Entry from the KeystoneMeats.com and/or all Keystone Meats social media at any time for whatever reason. The displaying of an Entry on the KeystoneMeats.com and/or all Keystone Meats social media does not constitute verification of eligibility or compliance with these Official Rules and is no indication of Sponsor’s or Judge’s opinion about such recipe. Likewise, the fact that an Entry does not appear on the website or social media is not an indication that such Entry has not been validated. By entering this contest, you agree to be added to our Keystone Meats E-newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time.


ENTRY GUIDELINES AND RESTRICTIONS FOR RECIPE AND/OR RECIPE NAMING ENTRY:


– Recipe cannot be more than 2,000 characters and must be created by the entrant, and must not: be copied from another source/plagiarized, have been previously published or have previously won a prize or award; – Entry must comply with these Official Rules; – Entry must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including, but not limited to, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, including copyright infringement (including, but not limited to logos, trade names, or patented features); – Entry must be in keeping with Sponsor’s image and not be offensive or disparaging to Sponsor, Administrator, or any other person or party affiliated with the Contest, or any of their respective products and/or brands; – Recipe must not include any personally identifiable information of any person, such as full name, address or phone number; – Entry must be the original work of the entrant; – Entry must not include any logos, brand names or trademarks other than Sponsor’s, which Sponsor has granted entrant a limited license to use for purposes of this Contest; – Entry must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, lewd, pornographic, obscene, hateful, violent, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous (as determined by Sponsor at Sponsor’s sole discretion); – Recipe may not include an ingredient that is unlawful in any of the United States (even if such ingredient is lawful in the jurisdiction of the entrant); – Entry must not contain, facilitate, reference, or use material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, political orientation, citizenship, ancestry, marital status, or age (as determined by Sponsor at Sponsor’s sole discretion); – Entry must not contain any express or implied commercial endorsement; – Entry must not contain material or statements that promote use of alcohol by minors, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message; – Entry must not contain any viruses, spyware, malware, or other malicious components that are designed to harm the functionality of a computer in any way; and – Entry must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where Entry is created or in any jurisdiction where the Contest is open.


JUDGING AND SELECTION OF THE RECIPE WINNERS: During the Judging Phase the recipes from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Phase will be judged by a panel of qualified judges consisting of representatives of Keystone Meats and their agency based on the written word of the recipe. The recipe will be prepared by the Judges at their discretion. The Judges will score each recipe according to the following judging criteria (each of which will be given equal weight of 25%): (a) perceived taste appeal of the recipe itself (b) ease of recipe preparation based on the number of ingredients, the clarity of the directions (c) originality (d) creativity of recipe.


JUDGING AND SELECTION OF THE RECIPE NAMING WINNER: During the Judging Phase the recipe naming from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Phase will be judged by a panel of qualified judges consisting of representatives of Keystone Meats and their agency based on the written word of the recipe. The Judges will score each recipe name according to the following judging criteria (each of which will be given equal weight of 50%): (a) originality of recipe name (b) creativity of recipe name


Contest Period: The Contest period begins at 10:00 am EST on October 1, 2019 and ends at 5 pm EST on October 31, 2019. All prize winners will be announced by November 15, 2019.


Prizes For Recipe Portion: Exactly three (3) Prizes will be awarded. The winning Prize consists of a Gift Pack of Keystone Meats products with an approximate value of $100. All Federal, State and Local taxes, fees and other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the Prize Winner.


Prize For Recipe Naming Portion: Exactly one (1) Prize will be awarded. The winning Prize consists of a Gift Pack of Keystone Meats products with an approximate value of $100. All Federal, State and Local taxes, fees and other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the Prize Winner.


Prize For Sharing The Contest: Exactly one (1) Prize will be awarded in a random drawing from all Social Media sharing from the 3rd party RaffleCopter company. The winning Prize consists of a Gift Pack of Keystone Meats products with an approximate value of $100. All Federal, State and Local taxes, fees and other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the Prize Winner.


Prize Drawing: If any potential winner either declines a prize, cannot be contacted within seven (7) calendar days of the selection or is deemed ineligible to accept the prize, alternate winners may be chosen at the discretion of Keystone Meats.


Limitation on Liability: Participants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay or misdirection of materials submitted to Sponsor. Participant agrees to full Official Rules and to decisions of Sponsor, or their designated agent, which are final and legally binding in all respects and further agree that the Prize is awarded upon the condition that Contest Entities shall be held harmless for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons or property, including death, sustained, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the Prize, or participation in this promotion or participation in or travel to any promotion-related activities and further acknowledge that said parties have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. The Contest Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by Sponsor, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by technical or human error which may occur and/or which may damage a user’s system or limit a participant’s ability to participate in the Contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CIVIL LAW. SHOULD AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest or any element thereof and Sponsor may conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of action requiring such termination.


Publicity Release: By accepting the prize each winner will agree to give written permission to Keystone Meats and affiliated sponsors, its designees and agents for the right to use the Winner’s image and/or likeness, the submitted recipe and/or photographic material including all rights of publicity. The Winner further agrees not to take any action or allow any other person to so act as to impede any use of the Winner’s image and/or likeness and name in any publicity related to the Prize.


Governing Law: By completing the act of entering the contest each entrant agrees that the Contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Contest Rules shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.
